It took some work, but got through Halloween. I was so proud of myself that I got all the stuff and still was working on Marie's costume until the very last minute. Getting sick just was not a good thing. She loved the costume, not so hip on the makeup I made her wear. Oh well, it was part of the costume, I kept telling her...she still wasn't buying it. This was a milestone year. First time she went trick or treating with her friends and not her parents. Granted we were at the house that was "home base" but still...there she was out on the streets with her girlfriends.
