This week's goals..

We had another sale this past week.  There's nothing as exciting as getting that email that says "You had a sale!"  Here's an image of the toile accent tote bag that was sold.  http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=23951214

Well, it's Sunday and time to decide on what to do for the remainder of January.  Decided to go with scarves.  Of course, being that we are TwoStep Studio - color, design and creativity will be key.  We've got some great ideas for what to make.  As the week progresses and scarves are finished we'll upload photos.  Continue to check out www.twostepstudio.etsy.com and www.twostepstudio.com for new items for sale.  And as always, TwoStep Studio is available to make and create custom pieces just for you at no additional charge.  Thanks for checking us out.

What's new for 2010!

2009 isn't over yet, but we are already thinking of what we can do differently for 2010. Kelly is back to her crocheting and I'm thinking I could do more knitting. So for 2010 look out for kneedle arts pieces, perhaps some blankets and I'm thinking of adding aprons. However, for the next 4 days I will be finishing up people's Christmas presents. Looking forward to doing these "fun" projects.  Check us out!

Lastest Sale - Messenger Bag

Our Fleur de Lise was picked up last week. The customer is only 4' 11" and asked if we could shorten the straps so it wasn't too long. No problem - just took the bag apart, shortened the straps and sewed it up. TwoStep Studio prides themselves in making custom bags that includes your choice of fabric, pockets, and length of straps. Christmas Time is Near

It's really amazing how Christmas seems so far away, then all of the sudden it's right around the corner - at least we got the tree up last week. Between work and daily life, plus all the events going on at school, it's hard to find the time. I've made some progress in the presents department, but no where near where I should be. I've finished only a couple of projects and just realized yesterday I have a gift to make for my daughter's teacher. I may have to dig into my inventory and see if there's something that matches her personality. I've got until Thursday night to decide. Once it's over, things will seem so much slower.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day. TwoStep Studio has made great strides over the past year. Between Facebook, Tweeting, Blogging and more, it's amazing what marketing can do for a business.

Well, back to cooking and baking.

Enjoy everyone!

Tote Bags

It's been a week, alright! It started off slow, but did get some sales in late in the week. Plus, I took some time out to finish up my new window treatments for the living room. Quite proud of them - however, that now means I need to re-do the pillows that I did the last time I decided to change the curtains. Oh well, creativity does have it's downside. As far as my sales go, kind of sad to see the bags go. One of them was favorite of mine that I promised to myself if it was still around at Christmas, I would keep it. It was a sign that it got sold. On to the next one.

I did finish taking photos of my Tote Bags. They really are quite cute bags. Not too big and not too small. They can really hold a lot without anything getting lost. I love them!

Halloween 2009

It took some work, but got through Halloween. I was so proud of myself that I got all the stuff and still was working on Marie's costume until the very last minute. Getting sick just was not a good thing.

She loved the costume, not so hip on the makeup I made her wear. Oh well, it was part of the costume, I kept telling her...she still wasn't buying it. This was a milestone year. First time she went trick or treating with her friends and not her parents. Granted we were at the house that was "home base" but still...there she was out on the streets with her girlfriends.
